100% Ibérico acorn-fed shoulder ham (paleta), whole (4–5 kg)

Paleta de bellota 100% ibérica from La Hoja del Carrasco: a whole cured shoulder (front leg) of 4 to 5 kg from purebred Ibérico pigs fed on acorns. The paleta is smaller than the ham and has an intense flavour; it is cured with only salt, preservatives and an antioxidant. Available with or without a ham holder.

La Hoja del Carrasco has been curing Ibérico products in Guijuelo, Salamanca, since 1896, using natural drying rooms.

Carve it by hand into thin slices and serve them at room temperature, on their own or with bread.
