Empeltre black olives with pit from Losada, naturally fermented in brine, in a 345 g glass jar. Empeltre is a black olive variety from Aragón, picked when fully ripe; the olives have a soft texture, firm skin and a mild, slightly sweet flavour.

Aceitunas Losada, a family company founded in 1961 in Carmona near Seville, cures its olives by natural fermentation: they rest in brine while their own bacteria and yeasts do the work.

Serve them as a tapa or with an aperitif, in salads or alongside cured ham and cheese.
