Tuna neck (cogote) in olive oil (115 g)

Cogote de Bonito del Norte from Agromar: sliced albacore tuna neck (Thunnus alalunga) in olive oil, in a 115 g tin (80 g drained). The cogote is the upper part of the albacore, close to the head. Agromar cuts the slices and fillets by hand and packs them by hand, using only albacore landed in Asturias during the Cantabrian summer season and prepared fresh.

Agromar has been making conservas in Gijón, Asturias, since 1926.

Serve it on toast with roasted red peppers, in salads or simply with bread.
