Goose foie gras bloc (130 g)

A bloc of goose foie gras from Etxenike, made with 88% foie gras from corn-fed geese and packed in a 130 g tin. It is a smooth, creamy emulsion with an intense, authentic flavour, made to be served in thin slices rather than spread.

Etxenike makes it by hand in Espinal, in Navarra in northern Spain.

Serve it chilled and thinly sliced, as a starter or with an aperitif. Unopened, the tin keeps at room temperature, so it is easy to keep in the cupboard or to give as a gift.

Ingredients: goose foie gras (88%), water, egg, salt, sugar, pepper, preservative: sodium nitrite.

Storage: at room temperature. Once opened, keep at 0–4 °C and eat within 5 days.
